River - paddle and oar rafting:
The "Birk" is a clean water gem winding through
old growth forest. Continuous water action provides
thrills for the entire family, open from May to July and
is rated moderate difficulty - Class III.
Elaho/Squamish
River - oar rafting:
Only 20 minutes from Whistler and 1 1/2 hours away from
downtown Vancouver, this all day excursion is the best
combination of big water and spectacular West Coast
scenery. The river is set among vertical canyon walls,
cascading waterfalls and glacier studded peaks. These
rapids satisfy even the veteran river runner's
expectations. Experience the thrills of rapids like Devil's
Elbow and Steamroller for yourself. This ride is usually
open from July to September and is more difficult - Class
IV.
